Man Shot Behind Trendy Hollywood Club

A man was shot and wounded last night after 2:00 a.m. behind the popular Ritual nightclub on Cahuenga just north of Hollywood Boulevard.

According to cbs2.com, "reports of the shooting [...] came in to police at about 2:40 a.m., a Los Angeles police lieutenant at the Hollywood Station said," and that "the condition of the victim was not immediately known." There is no information available about who was involved nor any motive for the crime.

After-hours violence in the club-dense part of Hollywood is not unusual; just a few weeks ago a stabbing took place inside Mood, although the victim later collapsed near the also-popular Geisha House.
