umm there is nothing dangerous about the trolley, its on a track and they ring a loud bell every 2 seconds. If anyone gets hit by it, it should be considered a fair warning for next time.

My wife and I went to the "Americana" in Glendale a few weeks ago (another topic entirely). They have the same Trolley system -- thanks Caruso for brining the touchy class of Vegas to So Cal -- and we were amazed how close it was getting to people who had no idea it was behind them. I'm not surprised about this story. It's not like the Trolley is a bullet train speeding through Tokyo, but still seems pretty unsafe.

I haven't been to Farmers' Market in at least 10 years, so forgive my ignorant question. How did it strike anything if it didn't go off the tracks? Do they actually keep large planters on the track for just this reason?
