Eye Nosh: Vegan is Sexy!
Maybe it's the absence of any background in this photo that makes this vegan burrito from Flore Vegan on Sunset in Silver Lake look so dang sexy. Or, if you're so inclined, maybe it's the absolute lack of any animal product or by-product that is sexy. Maybe it's just lunch time and you forgot your brown bag at home and would rather eat your own arm than eat at Carl's Jr.
Our LAist Featured Photos pool contributer hinducow snapped this hand-held piece of food porn for our Eye Nosh feature. We're not sure if it was as good as it looked, but we were pretty stoked around here last summer when Flore opened up shop in the busy Sunset Junction area.

When they get their service issues worked out I look forward to trying out there food again. If you aren't eating there (i.e. Takeout) it is like you don't exist.

Sexy indeed! I had the grilled portabella sandwich this weekend and it was orgasmic :)
To address the commenter above me, it was actually the first I've been there that I got excellent, attentive and friendly service from the very nice waitress. Flore, please hire more like her... she was a pleasant surprise!

oh, it is so much better than it looks. How could you not be eating these at least once a week?
PS Try to go there during off-hours. The waitstaff (and kitchen) are usually doing the best they can but the place gets crazy during the rush and there just isn't space in the joint for a larger staff.
