Early Tuesday morning, California Highway Patrol officers made a routine traffic stop that ended with deadly results. Around 12:15 a.m., officers stopped a gold Mercedes near 7th Street at South Westmoreland when the driver exited the vehicle per instructions given. But as the man got out, he allegedly produced a hand gun, prompting officers to shoot him more than once "in self defense," ultimately killing him.
This incident comes on the heels of a Sunday morning officer involved shooting in Inglewood where one unarmed man was killed by police.

So when you put "in self defense" in quotes...are you implying the officers didn't have the right to shoot the suspect?
I think anyone knows that if you get out of a car after being stopped by cops and you're holding a handgun, you're probably going to get shot.
