Youre totally right Ali. Once Fisher went out and the Lakers fell behind early, the alarm went off in the MVPs head. Notice he didnt have the "slow" start like he did in previous games. But instead of attacking the lane like he can (he is totally eating Ronnie Brewer's lunch) he went for jumpshots (1-10 from 3... REALLY??) Plus, the team was HORRID from the line. Ive never seen anything like it and I hope I dont see it again! As for USC... Im sure there are a lot of programs that do that but USC gets a lot of heat because 1. They are a top program that is winning. 2. They get caught or people talk. Remember kids, success breeds haters.

Manny hits the nail on the head, especially regarding that flagrant 2 on Rony. I think the officiating throughout the game was piss-poor actually. And what happened to the Lakeshow's passing game? Is it just me, or were the assists waaaaaay done in yesterdays game?

This may be a stupid question, and I promise its not only me defending my beloved alma mater, but is it possible that other high profile schools have gifting scandals, not just USC? If so, why no media attention?

I dont know about you J, but the Laker game PISSED ME OFF. What is with the reliance on jumpshots all of a sudden? Kobe was 0-4 from 3-land in the all important 4th quarter. If it wasnt for Fish's insane shooting, the game wouldnt have even gone to overtime. The Flagrant Two on Turiaf was idiotic. Fish got into foul trouble AGAIN in the opening quarter allowing D Williams to abuse Farmar who has been as useful as used toilet paper in the series. If the Lakers want to close out this series in 6 (which is what I predicted) they need to get back to attacking the lane and keeping Fish on the floor. Im not even gonna touch the Dodger situation. Send Andruw Jones to Vegas!!!!
