Behind Closed Doors: Playmate of the Year

Playboy Playmate of the Year: Jayde Nicole

Exclusive parties are thrown all the time at the Playboy Mansion, but yesterday's luncheon was a bigger event for Playboy -- Playmate of the Year. This time around, the annual event's honoree is January 2007's model, the 22-year-old Jayde Nicole. She is the first Canadian Playmate of the Year in 26 years.

Furthermore, Defamer makes a good observation about Canadian women: "Hailing from Scarborough, Ontario, Nicole is just the latest in an illustrious line of Canadian superstar Playmates that includes Pamela Anderson, Shannon Tweed, and the doomed Dorothy Stratten—inspiring Frankie Muniz to recently quip that there must be "something magic in the maple syrup," as he made it in the grotto with a set of twins from Sault Ste. Marie."

Looking for real maple syrup in Los Angeles to gain super hot powers? A Chowhound forum found a few spots. Now, the challenge is getting Nicole to go with you to approve of the taste.

Don't forget Colbie Smulders from How I Met Your Mother, too.

Someone should maybe tell Frankie Muniz that SAULT STE. MARIE, is in the upper peninsula area of MICHIGAN, which is in fact a "state" of the union.

cgabriel: Sault Ste. Marie is on both sides of the border, they're twin cities separated by the Saint Mary's River.

Muniz is in the clear on this one.

damnit! and im FROM MICHIGAN
