The salads are looking good!
I agree with samkim. A real brioche is soft. I might even take mine without the ice cream! (But maybe with a latte in the morning -- the perfect breakfast!)
I agree, these salads look fantastic are exciting to look at.
Regarding the brioche, it's quite possible Joan's On Third does something to the brioche for this particular dish. I'm going to trust pink_fish13 since she was actually there to eat it and report back that it was hard.
But as you guys say, maybe Joan needs to lighten up on that brioche toasting and keep it soft. I'd be still willing to try it!
