ART*
The Art of Vision” features artists like David Hockney and Paul Frank who created works of art that play on a theme. In this case, “vision” includes objects like glasses, binoculars, telescopes and cameras. Proceeds from the exhibit go to youTHink – a museum division that brings art programs to schools and community centers.

COMEDY
Calling all Kids in the Hall fans. The troupe plays a semi-secret FREE show at the Steve Allen Theatre. Tickets are first come, first serve, so you better get in line, like, now.

FILM
There’s a David Lean double feature on the bill at the Aero tonight. Brief Enounter is a 1946 film about longing between a man and a woman – already married to other people. Great Expectations is Lean’s take on Charles Dickens’ tale of a pauper trying to break through the English class system.

FILM (Option 2)
F.W. Murnau’s 1926 Faust tells the age-old story of a man who makes a pact with the devil.

PERFORMANCE
”Dark Hand and Lamplight” features Toronto-based artist Shary Boyle creating live drawings and animating pre-drawn images on an overhead projector while musician Doug Paisley sings and plays guitar.
