God, this whole Hollywood Blvd. thing is such a bummer. Why does "walkable" have to be synonymous with "luxury housing" and tacky nightclubs frequented by Paris Hilton and the like. It will just be the hot new place for out of towners to move, and then when the novelty wears off they'll move on to the next place, but by then the area will be irreparably changed to "a cross between Melrose and the Third Street Prominade." Ughh, how depressing.

re Wolfgang's; I don't think WP is very hands on in regards to the running of his various non Spago eating establishments. I ate one time at the "Wolfgang Puck's" in downtown L.A. at 6th and Hope. They screwed up my order. I brought it to their attention. They didn't offer to replace the dish with the one actually I ordered, didn't appoligize, or even offer to make it right. The guy just shrugged, like, "so what?". I haven't been back since.

I miss mollys charbroiled!!! sitting on the stool and people watching (not much but...)one of the better lunch spots in that area. although i had friends at kabuki and arclight cafe i would still go to mollys instead...
