We are the Mods!

ModernLiving.jpgPut down that martini glass, and jet set over to the Santa Monica Civic this weekend for the LA Modernism Show.

A delectable feast of goodies for collectors & decorators alike; over 80 drool-worthy exhibitors will be on hand, representing the best in mid-century furniture, art, and other design treasures.

This years theme, “Design in Motion”, will be marked with an “entrance spectacle” by sculptor Stan Bitters, and displays celebrating the streamline design of trains, planes, and ocean liners.

The show produced by Dennis & Lisa Boses of Off the Wall Antiques (on Melrose) is kicking off tonight with a swingin’ gala to benefit the Decorative Arts & Design Council of LACMA.

Maybe I’ll finally find those Franciscan Starburst plates I’ve been looking for!
