LAist: Gas Averages to $4 in NorCal, 10-Cents Less in LA

I've tried my hardest not to let the gas prices bum me out completely.... My wife and I ride our bikes a lot nowadays, and drive way less. We find ourselves on the Red Line more often, and walking a helluva lot more than last year. But last night, the gas-price-spike hit me directly in the chest piece. I couldn't shake it. I came home after a long night of work, around 3am, arriving to my house on foot from the rear alley. I noticed my car's gas door was open, with the cap laying on the ground. My tank was completely siphoned dry. These gas prices now bum me out. Completely.

You still won't find cheaper gas in the world outside the U.S., Venezuela, and the Persian Gulf. In Germany they're paying 1.47 euros per LITER! That's pushing $10/gallon.

isn't it interesting how the 10 cent lower average in LA over norcal doesn't make me go neener neener. still sucks for me! :-( why oh why did i agree to such a big commute to work each day!
