Late night TV is looking really good this week, with at least one good guest per show per night (with the exception of the deplorable "Last Call With Carson Daly").

Was anyone at the Pacific Design Center in Hollywood last night? There was supposed to be the debut of a new TV series called "Scarlet" but in reality, according to the Wall Street Journal, the whole thing was a ruse to launch a new series of TV screens from LG Electronics. I dunno but, they could not have served me enough Wolfgang Puck appetizers to not be pissed about wasting my time to show up for a joke.

8:00pm Beauty and the Geek (above right) CW - Ashton Kutcher's beauties and geeks go to Big Bear and participate in a sled building challenge

9:00pm Hell's Kitchen FOX - The challenge is to create the best gourmet pizza - the winning team will enjoy a gourmet meal in Santa Barbara and the losing team will take and deliver pizza orders.

9:00pm Deadliest Catch DISCOVERY - Sig and Edgar have a last-man-standing contest to see who can fish longer without sleeping which results in a brush with death.
