No Lines at Ben & Jerry's Free Cone Day?

No line at Ben & Jerry's Free Cone DayBen & Jerry's 30th Annual Free Cone Day is in full swing with 1 million cones expected to be given away today. But what's this? When we stopped by our local B&J's on Main Street in Santa Monica, there was hardly a line. We waited barely a minute in a quick-moving line of five people to get our free scoop of the new flavor, Seven Layer Bar.

What helped, we think, is that there were three B&J employees serving customers like a well-oiled machine. Maybe we'll go back again after work. What are the Free Cone Day lines like where you are?

There was a 4 min line @ the Ben and Jerry's at the Howard Hughes Center off the 405. You can't beat free Half=baked with a spoon!

my question is, what did you think of the new Seven Layer Bar flavor???

OMG! I LOVED it! It wasn't as uber sweet as I feared it would be.

@carolineoncrack Neat! btw, i went to the baskin robbins 31 cent scoop night last night. the one at robertson in beverlywood. line took an hour!!!!!!!!!!!!! but it was a lot of fun. and they let you get up to 10 scoops, so people were buying to go containers and filling them with ice cream for their freezer. me included. :-)
