Agreed. We played it last night... it is so detailed. The cell phone in the game is better than my Verizon POS!!

Got this game on Monday from leaky gamestore and have immensely enjoyed the game since. Last night I came home, booted up GTA (where you load inside your studio), turned on the TV INSIDE the game, and proceeded to make and eat dinner in real life while laughing my ass off to Republican Space Rangers. Then I did my dishes, pulled Niko awayed from the TV, and drove around town taking Roman, Little Jacob, and Michelle out, while wasting a couple of thugs on the way.

Honestly, of all the next-gen titles that have been released so far, 99% are selling you the graphics and the physics, with laughable amount of gameplay. GTAIV is the first to make you feel like you're getting next-gen CONTENT.

" Normally this would take a week in my world."

Hell, after the 5-day waiting period to buy a handgun you'd be scrambling to get all this done during the weekend. Then what, choose between Coachella and murderous ladder-climbing rampage? Thank god for GTA.

Boyfriend and I are heading out to buy this (and a PS3) tonight. If we come home empty-handed, it will be a sad, sad night in the HD household.

I was going to volunteer at a homeless shelter, but thanks to your review, I will be getting a copy of GTA IV and locking myself up in my room for the next month. Thanks, Ali...

Good greaash, I spent 5 minutes tonight watching TV in Niko's apartment. Flipping channels even. There's a level of detail in this game I never thought possible.

Little things, like the incredible draw distance, or the amazing conservotard talk radio station.

basically, wow. Wow.
