TV Junkie: Thursday - "Lost" Returns
"Lost" is back! Thursday night is truly the best night on TV, hands down.
If you saw yesterday's TV Junkie you might have read that post about Rupert Murdoch's News Corp. taking over NYC media - today there's a story in the New York Times about News Corp. hiring a hacker to break into the DISH satellite network, steal codes and flood the market with pirated smart cards costing the network almost a billion dollars in lost revenue and system repair expenses.
8:00pm Ugly Betty ABC - Back from hiatus.
8:00pm Survivor Micronesia: Fans vs. Favorites CBS - Tonight is supposed to be a big deal but I think it's just hype to combat the return of "Lost".
8-10:00pm My Name Is Earl/Scrubs/The Office/30 Rock NBC - NBC's killer Thursday night comedy lineup has only "Scrubs" as a weak link. New "Office" and a great "30 Rock" are scheduled.
10:00pm Lost ABC - Back from hiatus. TV Junkie Pick O' The Night.
11:30pm The Late Show With David Letterman CBS - Tina Fey!!, Brett Favre (say it "Fay-vree" like in Something About Mary), Estelle performs
12:35am Late Night With Conan O'Brien NBC - The always incredible Amy Poehler

What's this about Scrubs being the weak link? Is it a re run? Or are you dissing Scrubs?
Scrubs as a weak link my foot. Scrubs and The Office are the only shows worth tuning in to NBC for on Thursday night. Earl and 30 Rock don't tickle my funnybone in the slightest.

@alanna - ew... the office? It's almost worse than the american version of Coupling. Import the originals onto network tv, but don't remake them into subsidized crap.
Will Lost have a coherent storyline for once?
