I Met Alice Cooper! Plus There was Some NME Awards Thing Too
Last night the El Rey Theater was host to British music magazine NME's first US awards. You can find the list of award winners at Twisted Ear, since it seems like the sudden attention has crashed NME's website. For a recap of the awards show, check out MOG.
I was all about the red carpet! For those of you who have read my bio, you know it has been one of my life's goals to meet Alice Cooper. While we won't be having tea anytime soon, I can cross that one off my list. This is so great! Wow, Mick Jones is looking rough. I met Paul Simonon last year and he's still got it! ;) The post-punk vs. new wave part is priceless.

The (Elise Thompson) under the lead photo is the photo credit, not Alice Cooper's daughter's name.
A few photogs assumed that was his girlfriend, and he kind of took offense at their lasciviousness.
