Tonight in Rock: NME, RockWalk, Hot Club

Hot Club of Cowtown performs tonight at Safari Sam's

There's lots of music today, but not all are shows. Billy Corgan and drummer Jimmy Chamberlin of The Smashing Pumpkins were inducted into Hollywood's RockWalk at noon today on Sunset Blvd. Then tonight, NME brings its awards show to the U.S. for the first time at El Rey Theatre. Whoa, Jane's Addiction will be playing.

As said yesterday, it is true that Architecture in Helsinki will be playing with the Happy Hollows at The Echo tonight. But if you can't get into that, or you just can't get into their music (we doubt that), then we highly recommend Austin locals Hot Club of Cowtown who are hitting up local venues before heading 25 minutes north to this weekend's Santa Clarita Cowboy Festival.
