Fun Album Cover Sites for Wasting Time at Work

whatsnext375.jpgWe have been collecting weird Christian Records for a friend for many years. Usually the musical group is just standing on a bridge wearing hideous matching outfits. But this site has found some real gems. Check out the other galleries at Show and Tell Music too.

It just goes to show, one man's Worst Album Covers Ever is another's best. Trout Mask Replica? Really? Sure, this site has a few miles on the odometer, but its magic is timeless. Who can resist Joyce?

Another classic, Swedish album covers give us even more matching fashions. You don't need to speak Swedish to enjoy the magic.

We couldn't leave out The Museum of Bad Album Covers.

Christmas with Colonel Sanders? I'm so there. I'll have my turkey extra crispy, please.

This blog is a grab bag of Religion, funny videos and fantastic album art. Clicking back and forth is a pain, but some of them are really worth it.

Thank you for killing the rest of my afternoon.

Elise,

I appreciate you linking to my blog. But I wanted to give credit where credit was due. Most of the album covers come from:

You can follow his link to his Divine Vinyl section. Marc has been collecting weird Christian Album covers for some time now.

Yes, even conservative Christians can have a sense of humor...imagine that!

God bless,
Shane

That is very cool of you, smcgrath.

In fact, Purgatorio is coming up in my next post. I found the reference to him on your site, so thanks for turning me on to him.

I have already started sending him my collection of bizarre religious pamphlets and holy cards.

Great post. I actually have that Col. Sanders Xmas Album!

Dude! My birthday is next week. I would like to request a burn of Colonel Sanders if it is not too presumptuous. You have been totally bogarting the colonel.

Truly an awesome collection... I'm a big fan of this stuff and these sites have several I've not seen before.

Here is one of my favorites:
