TRIVIAL MATTERS
Booze Clues” is a bimonthly pub quiz that tests trivial knowledge of current events and pop culture. Bring your own team of six players or come as a free agent and form join another team at the bar. Prizes are awarded for the highest score, most entertaining wrong answers and best team name. This event is 21+.

READINGS
LA-based writers and CalArts faculty members Steve Erickson, Douglas Kearney, Janet Sarbanes and Christine Wertheim read poetry and prose selections from their respective bodies of work.

FILM TALK*


“Into Action” is a series dedicated to environmental subjects (global warming, the influence of urban environments on the oceans, energy and water conservation, green living practices at home) in celebration of Earth Day. Tonight the Conscientious Projector presents the documentary film: Sustainable Table: What’s On Your Plate? that examines the foods we eat.

GEEK DINNER
The two-year anniversary of Geek Dinners takes place tonight. “Anyone who has an interest and passion for technology, the internet, internet technologies, software or you just know you're a geek is welcome.” Bullspot is covering the drinks. Dinner tickets are needed to attend the dinner.

TALK
The ALOUD at the Central Library series hosts Mary Roach, author of BONK: the Curious Coupling of Science and Sex in conversation with writer and performer Beth Lapides. Roach’s work takes a scientific and often hilarious journey into the mysterious realm of sex. ***Standby tickets only. Reservations for this event are full.
