My name is Erika Padilla, I am Samantha’s older sister. This ordeal has been every family’s nightmare. The day you think that is never going to append. My family and I are very devastated and we want justice. Not just justice for my sister, but for other families who have gone thru the same situation, to have their love ones taken away by some ignorant gang members who have nothing better to do but take away the air and the space we live in. It’s time for us as a community to come together and take back the streets. How is it possible that these punks are running around and killing people for no apparent reason? What has this society come to? I am calling out mayor Villaregosa, where is he? He needs to stop making sorry excuses and promises that he can’t make to the “COMMUNITTY AND HIS PEOPLE” because it’s all an act. Why not pass a new and hard law to show the gangs that there is no more playing around and just be in jail for half of the time they have to serve, because the jail’s are overcrowded and there is no more room to keep them. The saddest part is that they come out tougher and more educated on how to carry a criminal mind. You mean to tell me that when Jessica Ortega is put in jail, I have to pay to keep her in there and the tax payer’s money is paying for these delinquents to be taken care of as if they are kid’s! I don’t think so. Why not ship them to Iraq??? Why have so many of our young solders go out there and suffer. Innocent lives are being lost and it has to STOP. What will it take for actions to be taken? Should we take the law into our own hands to get problems solve??? Erika Padilla
