Accident Report: MTA Bus Crashes into SUV on 134 Freeway

This morning an MTA bus crashed into an SUV, sending the car off the road and both drivers to the nearest hospital. The accident took place on the eastbound 134 Freeway near the Figueroa exit, which is in Eagle Rock.

Cecil Manresa of the LAFD explains:

The vehicle flipped off the freeway at the Figueroa exit and the passenger was reportedly ejected approximately 20 feet. The bus driver an approximately 35 year old female and driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital. The passenger of the the vehicle was in serious condition and was also transported by Pasadena Fire Department to a local hospital.

And over on the 101 segment of the Ventura freeway last night there was another incident that made the news...only because it involved Britney Spears. The pop star and media favorite hit the car in front of her in stop-and-go traffic near the 405 around 8:20 last night. Spears' 2008 Mercedes tapped a 2006 Nissan which bumped the car in front of them. Reports were taken, but fortunately no one was hurt.
