TEEVEE
If you’re a fan the David Boreanaz-Emily Deschanel sexual tension on FOX’s Bones, then you’re in luck. The two co-stars as well as other cast members and crew are appearing at the Paley Center tonight to talk about the show.

7 pm // Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills // 465 N. Beverly Drive, Beverly Hills // $25.

TALK*

Listen to Stephen Hawking (in real life!) as he talks about the black hole as a door to a different universe. Theories abound that the black hole’s ability to warp time can also lead to time travel. Hawking, though his body has been relegated to a wheelchair because of ALS, remains one of this (and last) century’s greatest minds. There are only 500 seats in the auditorium, so get there early.

8 pm // Beckman Auditorium @ CalTech // 332 S. Michigan Ave., Pasadena // Free but get there REALLY early.

WORDS
Judith Freeman, author of Raymond Chandler: The Long Embrace and the Woman He Loved, talks about Chandler’s private life and the role that his wife Cissy Pascal played in his career. Her lecture will be accompanied by dozens of vintage photographs.

7:30 pm // The Hollywood Heritage Museum in the Lasky-DeMille barn // 631 W. 2100 N. Highland, Los Angeles // $5-$8.

SILENT FILM
The Silent Movie Theatre’s series on Russian silent film continues tonight classics with 1927’s Bed and Sofa. It focuses on three people and looks at the sexual tension among them – which was unheard of in movies at the time.

8 pm // Silent Movie Theatre // 611 Fairfax Ave., Los Angeles // $10.

GREEN WORKSHOP
All Shades of Green in Silver Lake is offering workshops on Wednesdays in April about eco-conscious living. Tonight’s topic: “The Non-Toxic Home” that shows how you can address the most dangerous chemicals in our homes.

7 pm // All Shades of Green // 3038 Rowena Ave., Los Angeles // By donation.

OPEN REHEARSAL
If you’re interested in auditioning for the Hollywood Master Chorale, you might want to check out their open rehearsal tonight, first.

7 pm // Fiesta Hall @ Plummer Park // 7377 Santa Monica Blvd., West Hollywood // Free.
