I worked with Jim Wood when I was an architect at CRA. He was an amazing visionary. He was also a kind and generous person. I have many stories of how he helped me, architecture, urban design. What impressed me most was at his funeral, it was clear that everyone there also had a story of how Jim helped them in some selfless way, without being asked. He touched many lives through his work with the unions, building downtown, creating affordable housing, and he also touched many individuals personally with his caring and generosity.
