Retracting from earlier predictions that the California average price of gas would hit $4 this Spring, analysts now say it looks like $3.80 will be where it plateaus.
As of Wednesday, the statewide average was $3.65 for self-serve regular, a record according to the Sacramento Bee. Another record as also set yesterday when the national average hit $3.29.

I saw 4.89 for premium at the Perna station on Melrose. Insane. Shockingly, the station was empty.
The price for regular at the Union Station Chevron is at $4.099 today.
