TV Junkie: Tuesday
Did anyone watch "Top Gear" last night on BBCA? They had a fantastic contest of who could cross London the fastest: a bicycle, a several hundred horsepower boat, public transportation, or a Mercedes SUV. The bike won! Followed closely by the boat and then public transportation with the SUV dead last by more than a quarter hour after public transport. Since LA doesn't have many viable waterways it looks like it's time to sideline cars and invest in bike lanes and public transportation exclusively.

9:00pm Last Restaurant Standing BBCA - Uh oh, foodies need to make a choice between this and Ramsay
9:30pm Psycho TCM - (1960) Worth watching just for Janet Leigh in her skivvies in the opening scene, but then again I'm a pervert.
10:00pm The Riches FX - Hillbilly chiselers keep the fraud going
11:30pm The Late Show With David Letterman CBS - Sen. John McCain, Cat Power performs!
11:30pm The Tonight Show With Jay Leno NBC - David Beckham (who is parodied by Tracey Ullman on her new show), Sherri Shepherd, the B-52's (whose new release I will be reviewing soon!)
12:05am Jimmy Kimmel LIVE ABC - Ryan Phillippe, the third eliminated celebrity from "Dancing With the Stars," comedian John Mulaney (interviewed by LAist)!
12:35am Late Night With Conan O'Brien NBC - Helen Mirren (who is parodied by Tracey Ullman on her new show), professional yodeler Wylie Gustafson, Carbon Silicon perform

You mean last week's Top Gear? They show two episodes each monday (actually they show them both twice) one episode is last week's and the other is a new one. You can also watch a slew of them on On-Demand, if you have it.

I have a Billionaires for Bush rehearsal tonight. I really wanted to see Frontline.
s'OK though PBS always shows them more than once.

Yeah, I know they show two episodes each Monday, I meant the one with the London race whether it was repeated or not (which they will all be soon anyway).

After watching that Top Gear episode, I remember being stuck on a cab in Central London traffic. I opted to walk instead and the cabbie was nice to charge less than the meter.
