Dodgers Return to the Coliseum in Dodger Fashion

DSC_7781.JPG

The Dodgers celebrated their arrival to Los Angeles 50 years ago by returning to their original LA home: The Coliseum. One hundred fifteen thousand fans gathered last night at the Coliseum in a celebration of LA's home team to watch the Dodgers play the Red Sox in a spring training match up. And guess what, I took photos.

Okay but the photos suck. This is because in a string of bad luck, my good camera lens broke and I had to work with what I have left, which isn't much. Also (as part of this lucky year I've been having) I have a fractured foot which means I am hobbling around and it hurts to walk, so I didn't move around much to get better shots. That being said, I did my best. I am also experimenting with this new photo gallery format so let us know how you feel about it (the story is in with the photos, so you must click on them!!).

Don't tell me you got hit in the foot with a foul ball...

This pictures are fantastic. I can't believe I missed this. And, did you manage to at least throw a hot dog wrapper at that Vin Scully booer?

How the HELL can someone....anyone...boo at Vin Skully!?!! Come on! It's like laughing at your grandpa after he trips and falls! It's WRONG!

Great pics, Mal. Would have loved to have been there.

It was really fun, good thing the game took a backseat to the atmosphere because the Dodgers kinda sucked.
