Dodgers Return to the Coliseum in Dodger Fashion
The Dodgers celebrated their arrival to Los Angeles 50 years ago by returning to their original LA home: The Coliseum. One hundred fifteen thousand fans gathered last night at the Coliseum in a celebration of LA's home team to watch the Dodgers play the Red Sox in a spring training match up. And guess what, I took photos.
Okay but the photos suck. This is because in a string of bad luck, my good camera lens broke and I had to work with what I have left, which isn't much. Also (as part of this lucky year I've been having) I have a fractured foot which means I am hobbling around and it hurts to walk, so I didn't move around much to get better shots. That being said, I did my best. I am also experimenting with this new photo gallery format so let us know how you feel about it (the story is in with the photos, so you must click on them!!).
Parking was an enormous pain in the ass. I have a broken foot and a hadicapped placard and they still wouldn't let me park in the parking lot. They said there was no room for handicapped people and didn't I know that there were 115,000 people coming to the game? I said yes, but the majority of those people can WALK. (malingering)
