thanks for this, was able to check out many things that i missed from last year...i would agree that some gems were omitted, but kudos for putting song samples up for us to listen!

Last 3 comments do have a point. Transparent Things was released over @ the UK w/ a store date of 03/2006 minus the 10th track "Reeboks in Heaven", which was included in the '07 release in the US.

more importantly, wasn't radiohead's In Rainbows released in '07? mainstream band or not, that record destroyed just about 90 of the albums on this list. too cool for school?
