Plywood down at Father's Office!!

father%27s%20office%20sang.jpg...Or at least most of it is! Finally, a first look at the inside of the second Father's Office.

My husband, one of the most ardent FO groupies I've ever met, drives past the new location at the Helms Bakery in Culver City everyday, in the hungry hope of catching the plywood coming down, or (gasp!), the "open" sign beaming beer & burger hope into the night sky.

Today, at least part of his prayers were answered: a furtive first look at the INSIDE of Father's Office 2. Bren snapped the photo above, through the glass, even catching someone who looks suspiciously like Chef Sang Yoon admiring that long-ass bar that everyone has been talking about.

Not long now, right?? RIGHT? I can't wait to walk over there whenever I get a craving for that delicious burger... the best I've ever had.

More photos after the jump!

Great news! The bar looks gorgeous -- apparently Marc Jilg of Craftsman Brewery consulted on the design / tap setup.

Mmmm, beer!

So will it have the wonderful Craftsman Beer there too?

Of course. The SaMo Father's Office typically has three flavors/styles of Craftsman on tap. Also noticed that Craftsman is no longer being served at Redwood Bar on 2nd. More inventory for F.O.!

Yay!

Disappointed at the lack of any veggie burgers on the menu at this new FO.

Just called F.O. for an update and got the very precise answer: "I don't know when it's opening. Maybe in a couple weeks."

uh, just FYI ;-)
