<description>&lt;p&gt;The Gold Line Foothill Extension from Pasadena to Montclair is so close to being completed that it is interesting to see it placed so low on Metro’s priorities list. If Metro were to place the Gold Line Foothill Extension on their Long-Range Transportation Plan, it could be completed in as little as 4 years.

The Metro board is meeting on April, 24th, the last day for public comments to be put on the record for their Long-Range Transportation Plan. We encourage supporters of the Gold Line Foothill Extension, which will expand service from Sierra Madre Villa Station in Pasadena to Montclair, to attend the April 24th Metro board meeting at Metro headquarters, 1 Gateway Plaza, adjacent to Union Station in downtown Los Angeles. To join us on the train from Sierra Madre Villa Station in Pasadena on April 24th please call us at 626-305-7026 or RSVP at lmanning@foothillextension.com. For information on how to write a letter in support of our effort, click here.
