Golden Gate Bridge Shut Down After Motorcycle Accident
Update, 5:32 p.m.: SFist reports that the bridge has reopened and the crash site has been cleared. Overall, nine people were injured, two of them with life-threatening injuries, including the infant. Check SFist for continuing updates to the story
San Francisco sister-site of or LAist, SFist, is reporting that all Southbound lanes of the Golden Gate Bridge are closed, and most northbound lanes were "moving very slowly" due to a motorcycle accident involving multiple cars on the Golden Gate Bridge this afternoon. Traffic was backed up to 19th Avenue according to CBS 5 (where Allen Martin had the unmitigated gall to interrupt The People's Court to tell us!)
Six people were injured, one of those being an infant. According to NBC 3, the crash was "first reported at 2:45 p.m" and claimed that the entire bridge would be shutdown until 4 p.m. today.
Back here in Los Angeles, updates are coming in regarding the explosion near LAX, where at least one person has died, possibly a firefighter. Check the story for updates.

Slow news day yesterday? No offense man, but I really don't think Los Angeles readers care about traffic accidents in the Bay Area. Not that it's up to me to decide what you run. =]
