Community Next Conference Comes to LA on Saturday

The Community Next conference series comes to LA on Saturday with the day-long seminar “The Next Generation of Media and the Web.” They’ve booked Josh Berman of Slingshot Labs/MySpace as the conference keynote speaker, but there are more than two dozen other speakers (including Peter Pham of Photobucket, Smith Forte of Current TV, Alexis Ohanian, founder of Reddit, and Robert Scoble of Scobleizer.com/Fast Company) from music, film, movie and print media to talk about the Web, social networks and going mobile.

At the conference, attendees get to quiz and question panelists. But if that’s not enough, there’ll be an endless supply of Redbull and food on hand to keep the energy high. There’s also an open bar networking event hosted by Twiistup on Friday and a post-conference soiree Saturday evening with MashMeet L.A.

But all this learning and networking doesn’t come for free. The remaining tickets for the conference run between $350-$575.
