Pencil This In: Tuesday

THEATRE*


Cartoon Dump is a twisted look at America's favorite Saturday morning pasttime. It's a live children’s show parody starring Compost Brite and Moodsy the clinically depressed owl. Together they teach the audience about "love, friendship and self mutilation." Classic cartoons curated by Jerry Beck are screened between sketches.

TEEVEE LIVE
The Paley Fest is in its homestretch, and tonight the cast and crew behind Dirty Sexy Money take the stage. Some of the names scheduled to attend: Samaire Armstrong, William Baldwin, Greg Berlanti, Exec. Prod., Jill Clayburgh, Donald Sutherland and Blair Underwood. Last we checked, tickets were still available for this show.

SINGALONG @ CLUB FLUFFER
Club Fluffer is a group of artists who perform at galleries and nightclubs around town and coordinated by Tequila Mockingbird. Tonight the crew invades the Rainbow Room for an open mike night. Just let them know ahead of time what you want to sing and they’ll get the music for you.

FILM
The Flux Screening Series @ the Hammer Museum showcases innovative film and music projects from around the world. Tonight’s kickoff will feature a big screen presentation of Björk’s “Wanderlust” video presented by the filmmakers Encyclopedia Pictura. The program will also include new work by Geoff McFetridge, Cat Solen and others. Reservations are highly recommended though reservations don’t guarantee seating.
