Another Apparent Santa Monica Apartment Murder

Man murdered in Santa Monica apartmentFor the second time this week, another person has been found dead inside their Santa Monica apartment and police suspect homicide. Last night at 8:05 p.m., the body of a man in his 30s was found at 520 Montana Ave. Described as a "suspicious death," the apartment building was temporarily evacuated at the time. As to how police knew to check the apartment, police will not say at the moment.

However, they do say that there is no connection to the death of this week's earlier murder of aspiring model, Juliana Redding, who police suspected was assaulted at first, but would not confirm until later (albeit some other reports still say there is no 100% confirmation). Police are still waiting for autopsy results, but when finished, they will not be released to the public for another 30 to 60 days in lieu of a "security hold."

when you say "for the second time this week, another person has been found dead" - does that mean this is the fourth person?

the first "another" would be the victim #2 - or after the first person (victim #1) was found dead.

the second "another" would be the victim #4 - or after the second first person (victim #3) was found dead.

yes, i have too much time on my hands....

Hi Nicksm,

I, for one, appreciate your attentive awareness of the importance of clear and accurate communication. In this day of "dumbing down," monosyllabic bytes, and pod people, it is important to have a conscious comprehension of language. Thank you for your brightness. You are a person after my own sensibilities!

Now if you could just clear up that whole 'nother nutter butter peanut butter mess...
