TV Junkie: Wednesday

Root of All EvilThe 10:00pm slot is hot again tonight but I'm going to have to go with Lewis Black again, that's a great show, maybe Comedy Central has finally figured out what to do with him. In other items, the Nielsen Company, whom I've occasionally reported on/castigated in this column, is inviting LAist to submit some TV Trivia questions for an "Ultimate Pop Culture Trivia Challenge" contest and I'd to invite YOU, our readers, to submit some questions for this. Please send your questions to me at tomdog@gmail.com (we don't want any sneaks to get these in advance through the comments on the website). Your participation would be much appreciated!

8:00pm Survivor: Micronesia CBS - One is eliminated.

9:00pm American Idol FOX - One is eliminated.

9:00pm Big Brother: 'Til Death Do You Part CBS - One is eliminated.

10:00pm High School Reunion TVLAND - The cringe-inducing show rolls on: Will Sean give Kirstin a second chance at true love? Etc.

10:00pm South Park COMEDYCENTRAL - Season 12 keeps rolling on.

10:00pm Smash Lab DISCOVERY - Torpedo technology helps to develop a Coast Guard lifeboat for midocean rescues.

10:00pm Top Chef BRAVO - The contestants have to cater an event.

10:30pm Lewis Black's: Root of All Evil COMEDYCENTRAL - This weeks it's: Donald Trump vs. Viagra, what's more evil? My vote is for Trump because a person can be evil and a drug is just an object, you know, like a gun.

11:30pm The Late Show With David Letterman CBS - Dear Geeks, the top 10 list is presented by 10 stars of the series "Battlestar Galactica," Brooke Shields, Seth Meyers, the Gutter Twins perform

12:35am The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson CBS - Indie (and now TV?) doll Parker Posey, also Graham Colton
