TV Junkie: Tuesday

Gene Simmons' Family JewelsIt looks like a lot is on tonight but as a commentor said yesterday, "TV really blows these days" - I agree. Lifetime has launched an online series hosted by Daily Show co-creator Lizz Winstead called "Gift Intervention", it's kind of like an Antiques Roadshow for really bad gifts combined with an outing of the bad-giftor.

7:00pm What's New Pussycat TCM - (1965) Shaga-slapa-delic classic with Peter Sellers, Peter O'Toole, Woody Allen, Ursula Andress, Capucine. Mix some cocktails for an early evening of it. TV Junkie Early Evening Pick.

8:00pm It's the Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown ABC - Get ready for lots of commercials.

8:00pm American Idol FOX - The 11 finalists sing the songs of Lennon & McCartney

9:00pm Dancing With the Stars ABC - Continues

9:00pm Last Restaurant Standing BBCA - New episode.

10:00pm The Riches FX - Season Premiere. The liars are back. I couldn't get into this show last season. Were there any takers out there?

10:00pm Jericho CBS - Maj. Beck goes to extreme measures to prove he is in complete control of the town

10:00pm Independent Lens: Iron Ladies of Liberia PBS/KCET - Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, president of Liberia, is Africa's first freely elected female head of State.

10:00pm Gene Simmons Family Jewels A&E - Always the bad boy, Gene ignores doctor's orders upon release from the hospital. I can't believe this is on A&E

10:30pm Miss Guided ABC - Series Premiere.

11:00pm Human Giant MTV - As featured in an LAist interview.

11:30pm The Late Show With David Letterman CBS - Al Franken, Lauren Conrad, the Cribs perform

12:35am Late Night With Conan O'Brien NBC - Ice-T, comic genius Brian Posehn(!!), Stars perform. TV Junkie Late Night Pick

You might be able to get the first season on Hulu.com....not sure if starting with season 2 will be a problem...getting their story straight....lots going on with that family.
