Pencil This In: Tuesday
Here are a few mellow events to ease you into a post-St. Patrick's Day week:

CLASSICAL
The Glendale Youth Orchestra features musicians between the sixth grade and the first two years of college. The orchestra is in concert tonight at the Alex Theatre. And you think the American Idol kids got talent?
7:30 pm // Alex Theatre // 216 N. Brand Blvd. , Glendale // $9.50
FILM *
Jim Henson’s Commercials and Experimentals comes to the Silent Movie Theatre tonight. Best known for The Muppets, these clips shown tonight are true Henson rarities. The 8 pm show’s sold out, so they’ve added a 10 pm show. Better hurry.
8 pm (sold out) and 10 pm // Silent Movie Theatre // 611 N. Fairfax Ave., Los Angeles // $12.
FILM (Option 2)
One of Federico Fellini’s classics La Dolce Vita screens at the ArcLight/Hollywood tonight. In Italian with English subtitles, the film follows a handsome writer in an amoralistic/hedonistic Italy.
8 pm // ArcLight Hollywood // 6360 W. Sunset Blvd., Los Angeles // $12.
CLASSICAL (Option 2)
Here’s a real chance to feel cultured: Head over to the Huntington to watch Camerata Pacifica. That includes violinist Catherine Ledonard, cellist Ani Aznavoorian, violist Paul Coletti, flutist Adrian Spence and pianist Adam Neiman perform a program that includes Mendelssohn's Sonata No. 2 for cello and piano, Chausson's Piano Quartet in A major and a work by Thea Musgrave for flute and electronics. Plus a cool setting to boot.
8 pm // Huntington Library // 1151 Oxford Road, San Marino // $40.
