What I find particularly interesting, about the on going love affair with John McCain, is the media's complete silence regarding the Seantor's despicable performance while serving on the Senate Committee for POW/MIA's.
It was Senator McCain who was the prime mover behind the government's decision to classify thousands of documents relating to US servicemen
abandoned in South East Asia. For those of us who have taken the time to study the issue of POW/MIA's, it is clear that the Committee's findings amount to little more than a continuing effort to hide the truth from the American people.
Contrary to the Committee's findings, it is beyond a reasonable doubt that servicemen were left behind and the US government knew it.
McCain's digraceful behaviorin this regard, is graphic proof of a basic lack of honor and integrity. And, upon closer examination, I think it can be said that the Senator's, so-called, "Distinguished military career" is basically a fraud perpetrated upon the American people.
McCain is no "hero" and those who insist that he is do a disservice to the country.
