Screw Pinkberry! It's All About Menchie's Frozen Yogurt

Menchie's Frozen Yogurt in Valley Village is better than PinkberryPinkberry, CeFiore, Red Mango, Lime Light, etc., etc., etc., have nothing on Menchie's Frozen Yogurt in Valley Village off Laurel Canyon between Magnolia and Chandler. At Menchie's, there's not just two flavors, there's ten. At Menchie's, you don't get served, you serve yourself. At Menchie's, there's not just a handful of toppings, there's more than thirty-five.

Ranging from chocolate to cake batter to fruit flavors, the Valley yogurt shop let's you serve yourself, pay by the ounce and top your fro-yo with as many condiments as you like (fruit, nuts, sprinkles, hot fudge, cracker crumbs, etc) in a cup or a homemade waffle cone. They even have a midday happy hour through the end of this month giving you 20% off.

In a part of the city where places close early, Menchie's stays open later to 11 p.m. during the week and midnight on the weekends (they are officially on "summer hours"). And while it's only in the Valley right now, they are slated to open at least three more locations in the future on Melrose and in Culver City and the Westside. More photos below the jump.
