Be Part of a Private Herbie Hancock Taping

Herbie Hancock tapingHerbie Hancock is, hands down, one of the best Jazz musicians of time. After all, he won two Grammy Awards this year including Album of the Year for 'River: The Joni Letters'. And because Los Angeles is so cool like that with all the filming and stuff that goes on here, a week from this Thursday, you can be see him live, for free, in an intimate setting (as intimate as 400 people gets).

Yahoo! Music and Verve Records are teaming up for their next Nissan Live Sets taping on March 20 at 7:00 p.m. somewhere on the Westside (most likely one of the studios) But here's the catch...

You have to be one of the first 200 fans to email them at Invite@YahooLiveSets.com to get into the doors for this exclusive taping. Good thing is, you get to bring a friend. Email them your name and your location, and they will contact you if you are chosen to attend. If you send multiple e-mails to them, they will become very angry. Also, you must be at least 13 years old to attend. Fans under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. And one more thing, the time is subject to change and you need to arrive two hours before.

So there you go jazz fans, hurry up!
