It Never Was Funny: Prank Guns at Schools

Today around 12:30 p.m. at Nogales High School in La Puente, a call came into 9-1-1 -- there was a gun on campus. Sheriff Deputies responded and found out it was a prank. "Apparently unsupervised students in a classroom there called 9-1-1 to report someone with a gun," reported Frank Girardot of CrimeScene Blog, which covers San Gabriel Valley area crimes. He says at least two students were in custody.

One week ago today, a high school was locked down in Pasadena. Before that, Cal State Dominguez Hills had it's own scare. And before that, a young boy was shot and killed by a classmate of his in Oxnard.

It's not funny AT ALL!

If you forgot to study for your test, PULL THE FIRE ALARM. Or claim diarrhea.

Don't pull a gun, or even crack jokes about it.

It's never funny. Not even if it's a soap gun like in Take the Money and Run...well, that was kind of funny...never mind
