Update 7:00 p.m.: Sepulveda is still shut down and now crews expect to open it around 9 p.m. tonight.

Update 5:11 p.m.: "Crews Hope to Clean up Sepulveda Landslide by 5:30pm Rush Hour" says Fox 11 News.

Update 4:04 p.m.: Power has been restored to all effected except 700 residential customers in Brentwood and Bel Air.

Update 11:14 a.m.: This morning's landslide even caused power to go out at the Getty Center. Luckily, power in the area was restored by 8:40 am. to the museum and about nine other industrial and commercial customers reports Joseph Ramallo of the Los Angeles Department of Water & Power.

However, 1800 customers in Brentwood and Bel Air are affected by three downed power lines in the 300 block of Thurston Avenue. LADWP Crews are working restore power.

Three lanes were blocked by the 6:45 a.m. accident. At least one person was ill or injured according to Brian Humphrey, spokesperson for the Los Angeles Fire Department.

405 and Sepulveda traffic is also a mess due to a landslide where a "sizeable amount" of soil moved onto Sepulveda, which is closed between Sunset and Montana according to Humphrey. No injuries or formal evacuations have been called for, but homes that sit on the bluff on Thurston Ave. may do voluntary evacuations. The original 7:10 a.m. 9-1-1 call this morning came from a commuter on a cell phone who reported wires from utility pole sparking in a tree. That utility pole had slid down the hill in the landslide.
