Looking forward to this opening. Screw the drinks - I'm a sucker for computers and computer games.

But not to be a total dick or anything, saying uWink "has just announced plans to open a new location" is inaccurate - they've been working on this for months now, and the new location was announced last October I believe.

As for if it will succeed or not, I think it has a fair chance. The CPK at Hollywood/Highland is frequently packed - I think uWink will fulfill the desires of traveling families AND the pre-club crowd nicely.

If a Wolfgang Puck restaurant can't make it there, why could uWink? The concept sounds like it would be fun maybe once, but probably not a weekly event. But maybe they're just going for the tourist audience who can't come back anyways.
