Sing the National Anthem at a Ducks Game

Ducks Anthem IdolThe defending Stanley Cup champion (and recently reassembled) Anaheim Ducks are holding a contest tomorrow for a chance to sing the national anthem at one of their upcoming games.

Get you tail down to ESPN Zone’s SportsCenter Studio Store in Downtown Disney to register. People are encouraged to sign up early as space is limited (you can do it today if you're in the area).

Singers will compete on Thursday, March 6 at 6:00pm, where contestants will belt out 30 seconds of their favorite song. The judging panel will then select five to ten finalists and each will each perform the national anthem in front of the crowd. Friends and family members of the competitors are invited to attend as half of the final vote will come straight from the fans.

The winner will sing on the Ducks’ home ice at the Honda Center on Fan Appreciation Day April 6. The runner up will sing at the Big West Conference Tournament (college hoops) on March 12.
