The Truth is Out There: Paley TV Fest Announces X-Files Retrospective

PaleyFest08 announced today that they’re hosting an X-Files retrospective with series creator Chris Carter and executive producer Frank Spotnitz on March 26. But if that doesn’t bust out your inner Mulder or Scully, then how’s this? Attendees will also get a sneak peek at The X-Files sequel planned for a summer release.
Now in its 25th year, The William S. Paley Television Festival, is one of best television events of the year. Fans can get up and close to their favorite shows and ask questions like: “Umm Chris, how could you ever think that subbing Annabeth Gish and Robert Patrick for Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny fly during the last season?”
Hosted by the former Museum of Television & Radio (now the Paley Center for Media), the Fest showcases current television programs as well as retrospectives and tributes. So even if you’re not an X-Files geek, then chances are they got another show of interest to you this year, like Friday Night Lights, Gossip Girl, Pushing Daises and Mad Men. Or how about evenings with a salute to the Elvis ’68 Comeback Special, Buffy the Vampire Slayer or Judd Apatow?
PaleyFest08 will be held from March 14-27 at the ArcLight Hollywood. Check www.paleycenter.org for a complete schedule or get your tickets from www.ticketweb.com.

There were some videos of the x-files panel at the recent wondercon that got me really stoked for the second movie so I just picked up some tickets. I hope duchovny and anderson can make it.
It also looks like the Pushing Daisies one is sold out :( Darn.
