I just came from the vet where I got the new flea antidote PILL for my pup: "Comfortis." I like that name. They should name human pills things like that ... "I came home at the end of a long day and popped a few Comfortis."

You know, while photographing the group, I wondered if my camera should be the engine to drive this craziness…wondering if their mock protest was trying to illustrate the Warren Ellis point about our society's obsession with novelty [believe the exact quote begins: "The motor of innovation and novelty is really kind of cranked up right now…"] In the end, whether their protest was earnest or condescending, I felt it better to have the spotlight on these characters rather than Britney Spears. Plus, a woman in a flea suit just makes me smile. And hopefully it made someone else smile, or smirk, or wonder WTF?

ha, I went to that site after hearing it in the video and it made no sense so I didn't link to it. But you did:) Ah gotta love and hate when marketing and performance art meet.
