Good point, Caroline. That's the weird part of the story -- they say Madrid has an anger management problem. Is it really fair to jail him with such a steep bail? Just another example of how idiotic the justice system is. And I guess a grade-school-esque reminder that it's illegal to say Dear Leader's name in vain. And grendel20, I'll have a beer with you all too... I'd especially like to go drinking with Eisenhower and other dead presidents. Can you set this up?

ummmm.i'd like to deck his ass, too. i think probably madrid isn't alone. besides, isn't bush the type of guy everyone wants to kick back and have a beer with? doesn't that probably mean that he's used to seeing some good old fashioned ass kicking? maybe if madrid had simply said that he'd like to smoke him out of his foxhole...

The only way to repair the political system of our country is for the next administration to charge the Bush administratoin and friends with profiteering, war crimes, and treason for the Valerie Plame debacle. If a sudden dose of "You do the crime, you do the time" doesn't clean up these slimy fucking politicians, nothing well.
