Weird Los Angeles

phantomdog.jpgThe Phantom Dog?A Mr Ferguson was a passenger in a car travelling from Los Angeles to Ontario during the year of 1970. In the car with him were his aunt, who was driving, and cousin. The vehicle twisted and turned and came to an almost rural stretch of road when a large dog came onto the opposite carriageway and began to run across the road. Strangely, the animal seemed to almost move in slow motion and it appeared to be taking longer to cross the road than it should have and it resembled Mr Ferguson's own dog back in England.

"Watch the dog!" screamed Mr Ferguson as it crossed the central barrier and loped in front of the vehicle. The dog still had plenty of time to move out of the way and Mr Ferguson's aunt had alot of yardage to brake but suddenly there was a bang, and the car ploughed into the dog. Strangely, his aunt never saw the animal, replying "What dog ?".

The family got out of the car and saw the unfortunate dog laid in the road which should have easily made it across the road. Mr Ferguson noted that the accident occurred on a Tuesday of December at 4:30 pm. A few months after his visit Mr Ferguson returned to the UK but sensed something was wrong when greeted by his family members. They told him that his dog had died, the same date and time (with the time difference) as the animal that his aunt had hit on the road.

Had Mr Ferguson seen an omen of death, a forewarning to his own loss ? Had the vehicle collected with a hound of ethereal nature, or was the incident mere coincidence ?
