Although, the food is tasty here, my experience was that it wasn't hot enough and there wasn't enough of it. The waffles were nearly cold when they came to our table and forget melting butter on them. The cornmeal waffle with chicken and greens is really outstanding but for the money there should be two of those small waffles on that plate. We ended up with more chicken and not enough waffle. Also, for as many servers as are standing around there (yes, they were busy but there were a lot of waiters standing around), it was nearly impossible to get a refill on coffee or water without tackling one of them. I think this place is good as a late night eatery but for breakfast, you get more bang for your buck at Quality on 3rd or the Griddle.

I read about this place on Daily Candy too and decided to try it. Had the chopped cobb salad, partly on our helpful server's recommendation. Really delicious and the applewood smoked bacon won me over. Great dressing too which I found out is homemade in their kitchen after I asked. Wish I could buy some to take home. I also had a taste of my boyfriend's Vegan-Ruben sandwich which had tofurkey and lots of other vegan stuff on it. I never knew you could get so much flavor from an all-vegan ruben, but this place did it and my boyfriend loved it. We shared a chocolate waffle for dessert and it was perfect, which I guess is good for a place called The Waffle. We got seated fast and service was great. I hope this place sticks around because it's a good addition to the area. Try it out!
