Westwood Chipotle Free Burrito Line 'Worse Than Coachella'

Chipotle is hot for Westwood and UCLA is hot (or just plain cheap) for them

As said in Extra, Extra, thanks to our friends at EaterLA, there are free burritos in Westwood tonight: "Those poor students and cheap business people, they love the freebies. A new Chipotle opens on Broxton today, and to commemorate, they're giving away free burritos."

One student reader phoned in from the line. "It is sooooo long. This is crazy and worse than Coachella. We're going to Whole Foods to get burritos." A scientific Google Map and how-many-footsteps-did-you-count study found that the line stretched a quarter mile. If you wish to idle your time in line, the free burrito giveaways ends at 8:00 p.m.

More Long Lines! In the spirit of the traditional Westwood queue, go to Diddy Riese Cookies. Cheers!

More Freebies! And, once again, in the spirit of appetizingly fresh and nutritious corporate chain food, parent company of Chipotle, McDonald's, is celebrating the leap year with a free McSkillet Burrito ($2.49) today and tomorrow when you buy a medium or large beverage. Good score Daily News Bargain Hunter blog.

And that's not all folks! If you're a leap year baby, screw Mozza, take advantage of the free greasy pizza just for you: "The pizzeria Papa John's will give you a free large pizza with one topping pizza if you were born on Leap Day and can prove it with ID. Deal is for carry out orders. Good on leap day only - that's tomorrow!" The how-to process can be found here (once again, h/t to Bargain Hunter).

man, why would you wait in a line like that for a burrito at Chipotle when there are tons of other good Mexican places in LA? granted it's free. but still.. that's one of the things i miss the most, being out here in this strange place called New York.

Geez, the San Gabriel Valley and Inland Empire have had Chipotle for years. It's about time the city folks caught up I guess. This reminds me of my undergrad days when In-N-Out first opened in Westwood and lines stretched out to the "Buck Fitty" sub shop.

Not sure many know this, but if you wrap yourself in tinfoil and go to Chipotle the day of Halloween, you get a free buritto. I can confirm this by stacks of unused reynolds wrap in the trunk of my car and a 3 year old bottle of Jack Daniels in the trunk of my car.

Fortunately, every month there are a lot of events where one can enjoy his time and entertain his self. For example, there are great events that worth attendance like Coachella which provides different kinds of entertainment. And really this festival is ultimately attended. But every time in such hot events the problem of tickets is disturbing. Lately, I discovered an interesting website where to compare ticket prices for free and I find that it’s a great idea because this way I can find the cheapest offer. Here it is: http://www.ticketwood.com/concerts/Coachella-Music-Festival-2008-1-Day-Pass-Tickets/index.php

Thanks for the spam, Thomas146. Ticketwood is actually kind of a nice-looking site for the should-be-illegal concert ticket broker aggregator that it is.

Now go stick a burrito in it ;-)

That's a great tip thecoloured! haha

I just give u an information, and I don't how to tell u that this it's not a spam. But u're free to say what u want. This doesn't upset me.
