lots of restaurants have cockroaches/rats. usually its not public knowledge. and usually there isn't an infestation. you can't escape it though..

Eat Well in Silverlake has been closed for some time, and is sitting there shuttered. I wonder what's going on?

futureperfect: not sure if Eat Well was, I know Brite Spot was shut down for that reason a few months back. But keep in mind, thanks to the LA letter-grading system, places get shut down and reevaluated on the quick. Not the same in Pasadena, however, where it's just a shady pass/fail system.

if i'm not mistaken i think the one on sunset was closed for awhile due to rodent infestation.

Can't say the same for the Eat Well in Glendale -- had a bad experience there, hair in food, etc. The Eat Well on Sunset in Echo Park was much nicer, however.

The Buddah Bowl there is awesome as a veggie alternative.
